This is another firm favourite, the famous Marconi PS 213, now that I have a good set of dimensions from an original I'm hoping to get a closer copy than previous attempts at this design,  I've fitted 4mm ball races instead of the Marconi pivots, reason being if carefully fitted and with dummy adjusters it will look the same but the action will be far superior.
I had hoped to make a 1mm replica, i e the finished key being no less than 1mm out in size from the original but owing to the size of the basic metal available to me I've had to drop my sights a bit and accept 2mm, here is the lady below with her black stocking on, If the PS213 has a fault then it is its adjuster tighteners, I have made replacement tighteners for two original PS213 now, they are easily damaged and over the years various ops have use pliers and other such crude tools to adjust the keys, so I intend to made a tool that threads into the base for this key, then it can be adjusted correctly without damage. just a few minor trimming here and there and its finished, It is a lovely key, with a smooth effortless action which defines a quality key. and great fun to make...
